Today, December 14, Ukraine honors the liquidators of the accident at the Chornobyl nuclear power plant. We remember those whose work made it possible to overcome the consequences of the disaster. These are thousands of firefighters, construction workers, military personnel, law enforcement officers, doctors, and station workers.
The accident at the Chornobyl nuclear power plant became a lesson for the whole world and showed how high the price of miscalculation can be and how destructive it is – untruth. Unfortunately, many participants in those events had to pay a heavy price for this. In order to save the next generations: not only Ukrainians, but also the whole of Europe, some of them sacrificed their own health, and others – their lives.
Eternal memory to those who were taken away by a terrible tragedy.
