On March 14, 2022, our state celebrates the Day of the Ukrainian Volunteer.
The Ukrainian Volunteer Day was first established on January 17, 2017, by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to honor the courage and heroism of defenders of independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Ukraine, further strengthen the patriotic spirit in society, increase public attention and care for volunteer initiatives and support.
But in reality, the volunteer movement in Ukraine has a long, even centuries-old history.
From the time of the Zaporizhzhia Sich to the present day, hundreds of thousands of brave men and women at the call of the heart took up arms and stood up for Ukraine.
The Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise congratulates all citizens on this bright date and is sincerely proud of our defenders who are defending our lives, families, our Ukraine from the enemy right now.
