It is symbolic that exactly on the completion of the grand holidays more than 90 years ago a significant event for the Ukrainian people took place. On January 22, 1919 two sovereign Ukrainian states – the Ukrainian People’s Republic and the Western Ukrainian People’s Republic united in an independent state.
Historical experience constantly reminds us that the main, indisputable, enduring value for all of us is an independent state.
