On December 22, 2023, at the Cherkasy Branch of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, specialists of the research and testing laboratory of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Cherkasy region and experts of the branch conducted a practical training session to investigate the circumstances of the occurrence and spread of fires.
Oleksandr Mamchur, Acting Head of the Cherkasy Branch of Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise and Viktor Fonrabe, Chief Forensic Expert of the Cherkasy Branch of Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise presented information on “Conducting forensic fire and technical examinations in the expert specialty 10.8 “Investigation of the circumstances of the occurrence and spread of fires and compliance with fire safety requirements”.
Nataliia Nakonechna, engineer of the research and testing laboratory of the Special Purpose Emergency and Rescue Unit, Major of the Civil Defense Service, reported on “Features of the car inspection. Methodological basis for the study of fires on motor vehicles”.
Iryna Sirenko, Engineer of the Research and Testing Laboratory of the Special Purpose Emergency and Rescue Detachment, Captain of the Civil Protection Service, reported on “The capabilities of the research and testing laboratory to investigate fires and determine the causes of their occurrence.”
Serhii Suk, Head of the Research and Testing Laboratory of the ARS SP of the Main Directorate, Major of the Civil Protection Service, demonstrated the stand “Simulation of a short circuit in the power grid”.
