Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of justice of Ukraine is one of the leading forensic institutions of our country which will now provide expert activities in tenth oblasts.
By the order of the Ministry of justice of Ukraine branches in Kropyvnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi were joined to the existing in Vinnytsia, Ternopil, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr and Khmelnytskyi branches. Thus, according to the State Statistic Service of Ukraine, the service are of KFI includes the territory where more than 15 million people live.
“For than a hundred years the professional activities of experts of KFI has been ensuring the establishment of objective truth, playing an important role in the development and practical implementation of scientific methods and techniques for researching materials in the investigation of crimes and litigation, reinforces the evidence base of cases. The new structural units will contribute to the development of the forensic expertise and the provision of justice in our country”, – notes Oleksandr Ruvin, the Director of KFI.
The success in eliminating anti social phenomena on the territory of the country are overtly depended on the development of forensic expert sector, the full use of special knowledge of experts in solving the main tasks of the judiciary, the maintenance of law and order.
Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise will further promote the development of justice and the solution of new tasks and issues of combating crime.
