In connection with the receipt of appeals to the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise with a request to provide information on the extension of the validity of certificates of assignment of qualifications of a forensic expert, as well as on the issuance of certificates, the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise informs that in accordance with paragraph 4 of the order of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine dated 14.03.2022 No. 1138/5 “On some issues of ensuring forensic expert activity under martial law”, the validity period of certificates on awarding the qualification of a forensic expert to specialists has been extended, who, before the introduction of martial law in Ukraine, submitted applications and documents for certification at the Central Expert Qualification Commission under the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine in order to extend the validity of certificates, as well as certificates of qualification of a forensic expert, the validity of which expires during the period of martial law, or within one month after the termination or cancellation of martial law.
