Meeting of the Temporary Commission 192:

Discussion of personnel changes and priorities of national standardization in the field of forensic examination

On 02.07.2025, a meeting of TC 192 “Forensic Science” was held. Following the consideration of the agenda of the meeting:

- organizational issues were considered regarding the inclusion of a representative of the collective member from the Main investigative department of the National Police of Ukraine in the TC 192 members, termination of the powers of the Deputy Chairman of TC 192 and the authorized representative of the collective member from the Research Center for Forensic Expertise in the field of information technology and intellectual property;

- proposals for the purchase of copies of the Official Text of the NDs developed by the specialists of TC 192 were discussed;

- it was recommended that the NOS include the development of the ND "Forensic Trace Terms and Definitions" (07.140 KSRIFE, headed by M.P. Malyboha) to the draft National Standardization Work Program for 2025; .

- measures to prepare the Work Program of TC 192 for 2026 were discussed: Strategic plan for the field of activity “Forensic examination” and TC Work Program, taking into account the requirements of Section 16 “Planning of work of the technical committee of standardization” of DSTU (State Standard of Ukraine) 1.14:2024.
