On June 28, Ukraine marks the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of Ukraine — the Fundamental Law that established the foundations of statehood, human rights and freedoms, the rule of law, and the democratic path of our state's development.
Approved by the Verkhovna Rada in 1996 after a continuous session that lasted almost a full day, the Constitution has remained the legal foundation of independent Ukraine for three decades.
Today, amid the struggle for the freedom and future of our state, the Constitution is not only a legal document but also a symbol of the enduring values on which Ukraine is built: freedom, dignity, justice, and the rule of law.
Thirty years later, these principles continue to serve as a guiding beacon for the state, its institutions, and everyone whose work strengthens the rule of law and upholds justice.
Congratulations on Constitution Day of Ukraine!
