The Acting Head of the Zhytomyr Branch of the KFI took part in the scientific and practical seminar on pre-trial investigations of transport related criminal offenses

Acting head of Zhytomyr branch of KNDISE Mykhailo Pavlyuk participated in a seminar on traffic accident investigation for investigators and experts in Zhytomyr region.

On March 20, 2025, Mykhailo Pavliuk, Acting Head of the Zhytomyr Branch of the KFI took part in the scientific and practical seminar with investigators of the territorial units of the Main Department of the National Police in Zhytomyr region who specialize in pre-trial investigation of transport related criminal offenses. The event was held at the Zhytomyr Scientific Research Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine together with the Zhytomyr Regional Prosecutor’s Office and experts from the Zhytomyr Regional Bureau of the Fiscal Service of Ukraine.

During the seminar, the following issues were discussed: theoretical and practical experience in examining the accident scene; trace information at the accident scene; reflection of informative signs at the accident scene; peculiarities of appointing comprehensive forensic examinations; problematic issues that arise during the conduct of forensic automotive examinations, conducting investigative experiments and providing the expert with complete initial data.
