The purpose of the seminar was to highlight the possibilities of forensic examination for documenting criminal offenses against the environment (in particular, during martial law) and to identify the needs of pre-trial investigation bodies to appoint relevant examinations, as well as to discuss problematic issues and prospects for the development of this area of forensic activity.

The event was attended by Oleh Posilskyi, Head of the Materials, Substances and Products Research Department of the Criminalistics Laboratory, and Serhii Sichkar, Senior Researcher of the same department, who delivered a report on “Research of Chemicals as an Environmental Pollutant”.
