On February 06, 2025, the Kyiv Institute of the National Guard of Ukraine, with the support of the Ukrainian Red Cross, held an International Scientific and Practical Conference “International Humanitarian Law and the Basics of Security in Armed Conflict”.

The main thematic areas of the conference were theoretical and practical aspects of the implementation of international humanitarian law and its place in the mechanism of ensuring security during armed conflict.

Representatives of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise – Deputy Director Nataliia Nestor, Head of the Laboratory for the Organization of Scientific, Methodological Activities, Regulatory Support, International Cooperation and Expert Training Anton Polianskyi and Chief Forensic Expert of the Explosive Research Department and the Research of Missiles and Artillery Weapons of the Military Research Laboratory Yurii Siroshtan – took part in the conference.
