On 21 July 2026, an official delegation from Europol, led by Jean-Philippe Lecuff, Europol’s Deputy Executive Director for Operations, visited the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
The delegation was received by Maxim Kiselov, Director of the Institute. Andriy Leshchenko, Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine, also took part in the meeting.


During the working meeting, the parties discussed prospects for developing cooperation between the KNDISE and Europol, collaboration in the field of forensic expertise, the documentation of war crimes, the exchange of professional experience and the further strengthening of partnership relations.


The meeting will contribute to the development of international cooperation, the pooling of efforts in the fight against international crime, and the implementation of best European practices in the field of forensic science.
