On December 10, 2024, the training “Illegal Use of Budgetary Funds” was held online, initiated by the Training Center of Prosecutors of Ukraine.

The purpose of the event was to improve the professional competence of participants on the peculiarities of conducting forensic economic examination, determining the list of research objects, outlining the main tasks, as well as an indicative list of issues to be resolved in the expert specialties 11.1 “Research of accounting, tax accounting and reporting documents”, 11.2 “Research of documents on the economic activities of enterprises and organizations” and 11.3 “Research of documents of financial and credit transactions”.

The trainer at this event was Oksana Markina, Head of the Department of Accounting and Tax Accounting and Reporting Research of the Laboratory of Economic Research of KFI.

The training program included theoretical training and solving situational tasks. While solving the tasks, Oksana Oleksandrivna drew attention to typical mistakes in drafting orders for forensic economic examination in terms of asking questions to the expert, and also revealed the peculiarities of appointing complex examinations.
