During the seminar entitled "The Use of Chemical Weapons by the Russian Federation: Assessment of the Current State of Documentation and Interaction between the Defence Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies", held on 1 September 2026 in Kyiv, Larysa Oliinyk delivered a presentation on "The Participation of Forensic Science Institutions in Countering Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Threats".
 
In her presentation, the expert highlighted the role and capabilities of forensic science institutions within the CBRN threat mitigation framework, and outlined the avenues for professional forensic support in the context of cooperation between the defence forces and law enforcement agencies.
 
The event served as a vital platform for discussing joint measures to strengthen capabilities in the sphere of countering CBRN threats and to enhance the efficiency of coordination among state institutions.
