Pursuant to paragraph 5 of Article 6 of the Law of Ukraine No. 848-VIII dated 26 November 2015 "On Scientific and Scientific-Technical Activity", the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 404 dated 23 May 2018 "On Approval of the Model Regulation on the Procedure for Conducting a Competition for Filling Vacant Scientific Positions of a State Scientific Institution", and the Regulation on the Procedure for Conducting a Competition for Filling Vacant Scientific Positions at the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, approved by Order of the Director No. 62 dated 19 November 2025, the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine announces a competition for filling vacant scientific positions in the Institute's divisions:

– Head of the Laboratory of Scientific Activity, Expert Training and International Cooperation

Applicants for the competition must meet the following qualification requirements:

Higher education of the second level (Master's degree) and at least 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years of experience in the field of forensic expertise or law, or in scientific or scientific-pedagogical positions; where the applicant holds the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Sciences, at least 2 years of such experience.

– Head of the Department of International Cooperation of the Laboratory of Scientific Activity, Expert Training and International Cooperation

Applicants for the competition must meet the following qualification requirements:

Higher education of the second level (Master's degree) in the relevant field of study; at least 3 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years of experience in the field of forensic expertise or law, or in scientific or scientific-pedagogical positions; where the applicant holds the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Sciences, at least 1 year of such experience.

– Leading Research Fellow of the Department of Linguistic Speech Studies of the Laboratory of Linguistic and Psychological-Linguistic Research

The applicant must meet the following qualification requirements:

Higher education of the second level (Master's degree) in the relevant field of study; an academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Sciences in the relevant field of knowledge; published scientific works; at least 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years as a forensic expert or in scientific research.

– Senior Research Fellow of the Department for the Organization of Scientific, Editorial and Publishing Activities of the Laboratory of Scientific Activity, Expert Training and International Cooperation

– Senior Research Fellow of the Department of International Cooperation of the Laboratory of Scientific Activity, Expert Training and International Cooperation

Applicants for the competition must meet the following qualification requirements:

Higher education of the second level (Master's degree) in the relevant field of study; at least 10 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years as a forensic expert or in scientific research; published scientific works; where the applicant holds an academic degree, no work experience requirements apply.

– Research Fellow of the Department for the Organization of Scientific, Editorial and Publishing Activities of the Laboratory of Scientific Activity, Expert Training and International Cooperation

– Research Fellow of the Department of International Cooperation of the Laboratory of Scientific Activity, Expert Training and International Cooperation

The applicant must meet the following qualification requirements:

Higher education of the second level (Master's degree) in the relevant field of study; at least 5 years of professional experience and published scientific works; where the applicant holds an academic degree or has completed postgraduate studies, no work experience requirements apply.

Candidates for scientific positions must have knowledge of the legislation governing forensic expert activity, be fluent in the state language, and be confident users of MS Office.

Persons wishing to participate in the competition shall submit the documents specified in paragraph 11 of the Regulation on the Procedure for Conducting a Competition for Filling Vacant Scientific Positions at the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, approved by Order of the Director No. 62 dated 19 November 2025, namely:

  1. A handwritten written application addressed to the Director of KNDISE requesting participation in the competition;

  2. A copy of an identity document;

  3. A completed personnel record sheet;

  4. An autobiography;

  5. A copy of the employment record book (if available);

  6. Copies of documents confirming higher education, professional development, the award of an academic degree, the conferment of an academic title, and a military ID (for military personnel or persons liable for military service);

  7. A list of scientific publications published during the last five years in Ukrainian and/or foreign (international) peer-reviewed professional journals (hereinafter referred to as scientific works), including publications in:

scientific journals included in the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine approved by the central executive authority responsible for the formation and implementation of state policy in the fields of science, scientific, scientific and technical, and innovation activities;

scientific publications of other countries;

foreign (international) publications indexed in international scientometric databases.

Candidates shall send the list of scientific works with links to the information resources and websites where they are available, or electronic copies of the scientific works, to the email address specified in this announcement.

Candidates may also submit additional information reflecting the results of their scientific activity, including:

patents for inventions that have passed qualification examination;

monographs (or chapters in collective monographs);

links to scientific online profiles.

  1. Written consent to the processing of personal data.

Candidates applying for vacant scientific positions who are currently employed at KNDISE shall submit only an application for participation in the competition.

Copies of documents must be duly certified by the candidate. Each copy shall bear the notation "True copy of the original", the candidate's personal signature, surname and initials, and the date of certification.

Documents will be accepted from 1 July to 1 August 2026.
