On November 07, 2024, Nataliia Nestor, Deputy Director of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, took part in the roundtable «New opportunities and prospects for prosecuting representatives of the russian federation after Ukraine`s ratification of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court and amendments thereto» with a report «Forensic examination and the Rome Statute».

During the event, the participants discussed the prospects of prosecuting representatives of the russian federation for genocide crimes, and crimes against humanity under international justice instruments; criminal law and criminal procedural innovations in the context of ratification of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court and amendments thereto; standards, experience and features of cooperation with the International Criminal Court, etc.
