The International Scientific and Practical Conference “Child-friendly justice for children affected by violence: Current issues of forensic psychological examination” took place.

The event was organized by the National Scientific Center “National Scientific Center «Ноn. Prof. М.S. Bokarius Forensic Science Institute»”, with the support of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, the EU Project “Pravo – Justice”, UNICEF in Ukraine, and the First All-Ukrainian UNESCO Club.

KSRIFE was represented at the conference by Director Maksym Kyselov and the institute’s forensic psychological experts.

During the event, a “green room” was opened — an innovative space for interviewing children in a friendly environment, without additional traumatization.

The discussions focused on combating violence against children, the European experience in organizing psychological examinations, and the integration of psychological and forensic knowledge into the practice of justice.

Participants emphasized that the effective protection of children’s rights is possible only through interagency coordination, modern methods, and international cooperation.
