On 23 June 2026, the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise (KSRIFE) had the honour of welcoming a distinguished Lithuanian delegation. The delegation included Vilnius Mayor Valdas Benkunskas, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to Ukraine Inga Stanytė-Toločkienė, representatives of the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA), and other official representatives.During the visit, we had the opportunity to present our institutional capabilities to our European partners. KSRIFE is a research institution with more than a century of history and is currently one of Ukraine's leading forensic institutions, conducting unique types of forensic examinations. Our experts apply advanced methodologies and innovative approaches, ensuring the highest standards of forensic research.
An important part of the meeting was dedicated to discussing the exchange of international experience. Cooperation with our Lithuanian colleagues creates new opportunities for professional development, enabling us not only to adopt European best practices in forensic science but also to share our own unique expertise with the international community.
We sincerely thank our Lithuanian friends for their visit, solidarity, and continued support. Strengthening international partnerships makes our institution even stronger.
