The Forensic Science Future 2026 International Forum was held in Kharkiv at the Hon. Prof. M. S. Bokarius National Scientific Center “Institute of Forensic Science” to commemorate the Day of the Forensic Expert of Ukraine.

The forum served as a platform for discussing current challenges and future prospects for the development of forensic science, as well as practical issues encountered daily by forensic experts, law enforcement officials, members of the judiciary, and legal professionals.

One of the key events of the forum was the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise (KSRIFE) and Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University. The document was signed by Maksym Kyselov, Director of KSRIFE, and Anatolii Hetman, Rector of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University.

The Memorandum establishes the main areas of cooperation in education, research, and innovation. These include enhancing professional training for specialists, conducting joint research projects, organizing scientific and educational events, expanding international cooperation, and providing internships and practical training opportunities for university students at KSRIFE.
