On June 24, 2025, a coordination meeting was held between experts from the Ivano-Frankivsk branch of the KSRIFE and representatives of law enforcement agencies (investigative units) of the Main Department of the National Police in the Ivano-Frankivsk region to provide recommendations for ensuring the necessary data, clarifying the procedure for appointing expert examinations, as well as methodological assistance in formulating questions for expert tasks in order to facilitate the investigation and reduce the time required to complete expert examinations.
During the meeting, the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk branch of the KSRIFE drew attention to the peculiarities and procedure for appointing forensic examinations.
The branch's forensic experts provided explanations and recommendations on the correct formulation of questions to be addressed in the expert examination. In particular, attention was focused on the list of materials and documents that must be provided for examination, as well as on the importance of providing only those materials that are directly related to the appointed expert examinations.
Our experts also noted that confirmation of the conclusions of financial control bodies, presented in a probable form (which are of an assumptive nature), does not fall within the scope of economic expertise.
In addition, on this day, an open discussion was held between the department's forensic expert and representatives of the environmental inspection, the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Dniester Basin Water Resources Administration, the Main Directorate of the State Food and Consumer Service, as well as investigative units of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
The purpose of the meeting was to provide methodological assistance in preparing source data for environmental expertise, in particular, in terms of researching damage to the environment as a result of pollution of water and land resources, eliminating shortcomings in the appointment of economic, linguistic, and land expertise, formulating questions, and defining key tasks.
