On December 13, 2024, the National University of Defense of Ukraine hosted a seminar “Documenting and Determining the Amount of Damage from the Armed Aggression of the Russian Federation: Current Problems and Prospects“ organized by the All–Ukrainian Public Organization “Union of Experts of Ukraine“.
Oleksandr Ruvin, Director of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech in which he emphasized the relevance of this type of expert research, given the endless shelling of Ukrainian critical infrastructure, enterprises and civilian objects by russian troops.
The seminar was also attended by the specialists of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise – Head of the Economic Research Laboratory Olha Lukova and Head of the Laboratory for the Organization of Scientific, Methodological Activities, Regulatory Support, International Cooperation and Expert Training Anton Polianskyi, as well as Senior Researcher of the Economic Research Laboratory Mykhailo Poliennikov, who joined the discussion of the current problems of recording and assessing the damage caused by the russian aggressors.
