On November 29, 2024, at the initiative of the Bar Council of Kyiv Region and with the active support of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine, and the Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University, the Ukrainian Sanctions Forum on “Sanctions as a National Security Instrument: Issues of Law Enforcement Practice and Economic Consequences” was held as part of the ongoing international networking cooperation.
Olha Lukova, Head of the Economic Research Laboratory of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, took part in the professional discussion on the peculiarities of collecting evidence during the application of sanctions and prosecution for crimes against the national security of Ukraine.
Oksana Markina, Head of the Accounting, Taxation and Reporting Research Department of the Economic Research Laboratory, joined the forum in the form of a question-and-answer session and focused on conducting economic examinations.
Also at the forum, Maryna Rudaia, Leading Researcher of the Laboratory of Psychological Research of KFI, delivered a report “Economic expertise as an important element of economic control to ensure the economic security of Ukraine”, in which she revealed practical cases on the peculiarities of regulatory and documentary confirmation of the sale of goods at reduced prices aimed at minimizing tax liabilities.
