Oleh Baulin, Head of the Scientific and Methodological Department, Mykhailo Poliennikov, Senior Researcher of the Economic Research Laboratory, and Andrii Kovalov, Forensic Expert of the Laboratory of Engineering, Transport, Commodity and Special Types of Research, participated in the III White-Collar Crime Forum organized by the "Legal Practice" newspaper in the Premier Palace Hotel (Kyiv).
The event was attended by the judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, the Supreme Court of Ukraine and the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine, employees of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, the National Agency of Ukraine for finding, tracing and management of assets derived from commercial and other crimes, the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Police of Ukraine, business representatives and leading law firms.
The report of the speaker of the Military WCC section, Mykhailo Poliennikov, “Forensic Economic Examination in the WCC, Development and Features of the Instrument”, focused the audience on the current capabilities of forensic economic examination and the importance of the results of such examination in the WCC, especially for establishing the amount of damage caused to the state budget during the procurement of military and dual-use equipment.
