During the course of the training course, the relevant theoretical and practical aspects of investigating crimes related to human trafficking were discussed and the following topics were presented for discussion:

– Action Plan to Combat Trafficking in Human Beings;
– Mechanism for preventing labor exploitation on the example of the case of Ukrainian refugees, etc.

The participants also discussed problematic issues of cooperation between government agencies of different countries in the investigation of crimes related to human trafficking caused by differences in criminal procedural legislation. The participants had the opportunity to practically apply the acquired knowledge in the form of workshops, in particular, using the EUROPOL platform for information exchange.

At the end of the event, the participants took an online test of the material they had learned and had the opportunity to exchange experience with colleagues from different countries, which is an important factor for the development of forensic science in Ukraine.

We thank the organizers for the opportunity to participate in this course. This is a great support for us and an opportunity to become better!
