The expert of the KFI took part in the round table “Countering disinformation during martial law”

On March 27, 2025, Eduard Lytvynenko, Chief Forensic Expert of the Laboratory of Psychological Studies at KNDISE, took part in the round table “Countering Disinformation During Martial Law,” organized by the Human Rights Protection Committee and the Information Policy Committee of the Ukrainian National Bar Association (UNBA). In his report, he highlighted the information activities of the aggressor state as a threat to Ukraine’s national and information security. The event focused on addressing the challenges of hybrid warfare and developing effective mechanisms to counter disinformation.

On March 27, 2025, the Human Rights Protection Committee of the Ukrainian National Bar Association (UNBA) together with the UNBA Committee on Information Policy and Media Relations held a round table “Countering Disinformation during Martial Law”.

Eduard Lytvynenko, Chief Forensic Expert of the Psychological Research Laboratory of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, delivered a report “Information activities of the aggressor state as a threat to the national and information security of Ukraine”.

The main topic of the event was that in the current conditions of hybrid warfare, disinformation has become one of the key tools of information influence used to destabilize the situation in the country, discredit state institutions, undermine public confidence and manipulate public opinion. The roundtable was aimed at developing effective mechanisms for countering disinformation and sharing experience among lawyers, information law experts, academics, and government officials.
