On December 6, 2022, an international seminar “Detection and investigation of motor vehicle crime in the EU” took place online, which was attended by Serhii Naumenko, the Chief Forensic Expert of the Questioned Document Examination Department.
The organizer of the event is the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL).
The purpose of the webinar was to improve the knowledge of experts on the detection and investigation of motor vehicle crimes in Europe. During the event, attendees were introduced to the latest trends and best practices in vehicle crime investigations, and presentations outlined key tools and techniques for identifying stolen vehicles. In addition, the webinar participants were introduced to a presentation by the Criminal Intelligence Service of the Federal Ministry of the Interior of Austria, which focused on Europol’s main support services in the fight against vehicle-related crime.
At the end of the webinar, participants received certificates of participation.
