On August 1, 2024, on the basis of the Training Center of Prosecutors of Ukraine, Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine conducted online training on inspecting a scene and other priority investigative actions during the investigation of attacks (shelling) on civilian objects.
The event was attended by military specialists of the interagency working group, employees of the Department of Expert Support of Justice and research institutes of forensic examinations of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, in particular Oleksii Stepaniuk, Chief Forensic Expert of the Department of Explosive Research and Research of Missile and Artillery Weapons of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise.
The training focused on the technical characteristics and design features of individual munitions, as well as ways to identify them, determine the direction of fire, etc.
