On August 2, 2024, within the framework of the European Union Anti-Corruption Initiative in Ukraine (EUACI), Yevhen Tymko, Head of the Phonoscopic, Computer and Telecommunications Research Department of the Criminalistics Laboratory of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, conducted a training on “Cellular Communication and Analysis of Data on Digital Media” for the employees of the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine.
During the event, the expert familiarized the participants with the types, structure and components of cellular communication. In particular, he outlined how to analyze billing data, determine the fact of subscriber connection and subscriber location based on billing data; informed about the types and methods of analyzing information on a cellular (mobile) terminal and about the study of information on digital media, etc.
