On April 26, 2022, a meeting of the section of forensic examination in the field of life safety and labor protection of the Scientific Advisory and Methodological Council on Forensic Science at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine was held by videoconference.
From the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine in the work of the section participated:
- Oleksandr Shmereho, Head of the Department of Life Safety Research, Fire Engineering and Electrical Engineering Resaerch, Laboratory of Engineering and Technical Types of Research;
- Maria Ilina, Leading Forensic Expert, Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise;
- Valentyn Kuchynskyi, Senior Forensic Expert, Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise.
During the meeting of the section, the progress of the research in accordance with the Thematic plan of research work of research institutions of forensic examinations of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine for the current year was discussed; reviews of expert opinions and other topical issues of forensic examination were discussed. During the work of the section, there was an exchange of experience of expert work between employees of institutes of forensic examinations, and the questions defined according to the agenda were discussed.
