A meeting of the section of forensic construction-technical and land-technical examination of the scientific-advisory and methodological council at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine

On May 6, specialists from the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine took part in a meeting of the section of forensic construction, technical and land-technical examination of the scientific-advisory and methodological council on forensic issues at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.

The participants discussed the status of research work in accordance with the thematic plan for 2020, as well as topics, explanatory notes and terms of reference to them, planned for execution next year.

In the course of the work, it was a question of reviewing the findings of examinations submitted for research in accordance with the Plan for reviewing expert findings of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.

The issues of conducting expert examinations of integral property complexes were raised on which the meeting participants had different opinions and concluded that the relevant topic is relevant and requires further detailed study.

Roman Pasko, Head of the Laboratory of Engineering and Technical Research of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, focused on the need to intensify the work of the subcommittees of Technical Committee No. 192 “Forensic Sciences”, which are currently working on the development of three new standards for conducting forensic construction, technical and land-technical examinations.

He also noted that the issue of presenting candidatures of representatives of collective participants of the Donetsk, Lviv and Dnepropetrovsk research institutes of forensic examinations to the subcommittees of TC No. 192 “Forensic Sciences” is already relevant.
