On November 10, 2022, a meeting of the forensic linguistic examination section was held of the Scientific Advisory and Methodological Council on Forensic Science at the Ministry of Justice in video conference mode.
From the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, the following participated in the work of the section:
- Svitlana Dolynkivska, Head of the Sector of Linguistic Speech Research;
- Yurii Irkhin, Head of the Psychological Research Department;
- Iryna Tkachuk, Leading Forensic Expert.
During the work of the section, the technical tasks of the research, which are planned to be included in the Thematic Plan of scientific research works for 2023, were considered; discussion of the progress of the research implementation in accordance with the plan for 2022; the results of the approval were considered in accordance with the plan for the approval of the results of the research for 2022.
In addition, the participants of the section reviewed the letters of Nataliia Tkachenko, Director of the Department of Expert Justice of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine regarding the review of the tentative list of issues to be resolved contained in the Scientific and Methodological Recommendations on the Preparation and Appointment of Forensic Examinations and Expert Studies, approved by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine; regarding revision of training programs for judicial experts; regarding the relevance of the lists of recommended scientific and technical and reference literature used during forensic examinations.
