On November 10, 2022, a meeting of the forensic environmental examination section of the Scientific Advisory and Methodological Council on Forensic Science at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine was held via video conference.
From the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, the following participated in the work of the section:
- Oleksii Kopanytsia, Deputy Head of the Engineering and Environmental Research Department, Head of the Section;
- Iryna Kramarenko, Forensic Expert of the Engineering and Environmental Research Department of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise;
- Nataliia Holubieva, Forensic Expert of the Cherkasy Branch of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise.
The work of the section took place according to the agenda. During the session of the section, there was a discussion of the progress and status of the implementation of the research, included in the thematic plan of the research of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine for 2022; of the results of the approval of the research, according to the plan of the approval of the results of scientific research works of the Ministry of Justice for 2022.
The participants of the section also reviewed reports on the topics: “Development of methodological recommendations for conducting expert studies on the determination of the danger created by atmospheric air pollution with dangerous chemical substances” and “Development of methodological recommendations on the conduct of expert studies on the determination of the danger created by the use of subsoil”.
As a separate issue during the work of the section, the letter of the Director of the Department of Expert Justice Support of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine Nataliia Tkachenko regarding the identification of representatives for cooperation with the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine was considered.
