Oleksandr Ruvin, Director of Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, and Stanislav Chebonenko, Vice-Rector of the Academy of the State Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on behalf of the institutions signed a cooperation agreement.
The relevant initiative will contribute to the implementation of joint scientific and practical activities and educational activities in the field of human rights protection in the context of the reform of the penitentiary system and the development of forensic expertise.
During the meeting, Stanislav Chebonenko, Vice-Rector of the Academy of the State Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, expressed sincere gratitude for the assistance in visiting the museum and expert laboratories of Kyiv Research Institute of Forensic Expertise by students of the Academy.
During the visit to KFI, students of the Academy had the opportunity to view the exposition of KFI Museum, where more than 105-year history of forensic examination is presented in the form of forensic technology, real physical evidence, documents, forensic expert opinions of the past century and models of objects investigated by experts.
In addition, students of the Academy had the opportunity to personally communicate with the experts of the laboratory of forensic research of KFI, to learn about the features of psychological, video- and photo-technical studies, technical studies of documents, studies of materials, substances and products.
